Rental Policies

NOTE: RENT CHARGED FOR ALL TIME OUT.  For you to get the best value for your money, return all items on or before the date and time DUE IN on your rental contract.

Metered Items

Rates for rental items equipped with hour meters are based on 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and 168 hours per month.  Additional usage will be charged accordingly.

Pricing

Prices are subject to change. Please call for price quotes. All rental charges are for time out, whether used or not. If you encounter any operational problems, call A-1 Rental l immediately. No credits or adjustments will be made unless we are notified as soon as the problem is encountered.

Delivery and Pick-up

Delivery and pickup are available at reasonable rates. Please call for the charge to your specific location. All rental items should be gathered in a single location convenient for pickup. If you prefer, you may pickup and return your rental items to our location.

Damage Waiver

A percentage of the rental rate will automatically be charged for damage waiver. Damage waiver is 7%.

Responsibility

Responsibility for rental items remains with the customer from delivery to return. All items should be secured and protected from the weather. Additional charges for replacements are made for missing or damaged items.

Fuel

Equipment is sent out full of fuel and should to be returned full. A fuel charge will be assessed on the return if not full minimum of 1 gallon.

Cleaning Fees

Equipment is sent out clean and is to be returned clean. A cleaning charge will be added if equipment is returned dirty minimum 1 hour.

Do You Deliver?

Yes, delivery is available. There is a charge based on the particular order and the distance to be traveled. The minimum delivery fee is $35.00. Please call us for a quote.

How can I pay for my rental?

A-1 Rental, accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and local checks for payment of rentals. If you would like us to bill you or your company, it is necessary to first establish a charge account. Deposits are taken in cash, check or credit card in person or by fax with our credit card authorization form.

When do I pay for my rental?

All payments and deposits are required at the beginning of the rental period.

When does my rental time start and stop?

Your rental time starts when the contract is opened. Your time stops when the contract is checked in by your rental agent. You are charged for time out, not time used. For party rentals, the time period is more "event" oriented. We will take your special circumstances into consideration and charge accordingly.

Do you sell the other supplies I need to complete my project?

For almost everything that we rent, if there is an accessory or product that goes with it, we sell it. We sell carbide blades, nails, staples, sandpaper, earplugs, gloves, carpet cleaning detergent, and many more things. If you need it for you project along with your rental equipment, just ask your rental agent and we will have it.
